What Is the Gaston County Toy Run?
The Gaston County Toy Run is an annual event that celebrates the spirit of the holidays and seeks to give back to those in need in the community. The non-profit event requires a five-dollar entrance fee, and interested participants are also required to bring a toy for a child, new and unwrapped. Not truly a run, the event involves dozens of motorcyclists who drive a designated course throughout Gaston, led by a biker Santa Claus. You can view a short video of the event on YouTube.
