From June 7 – 10, Hickory, NC will host the annual 3.5 day event, full of motorcycles, barbeque, and music, taking place at the American Legion Fair Grounds. Hog Happenin’ is a regional bike fest and barbecue cook-off that brings bike owners and barbecue teams together. The fun-filled event is scheduled for June 7-10, 2018, and features tons of food and live music.
#2: Food and Drinks
Between the flames of the grill and the rays of the sun, there’s no shortage of heat to cook up all the BBQ you could imagine. This year’s event features a number of barbecue vendors, plus special food stands of all kinds. You can enjoy competition-quality beef brisket and pork and pair it with your favorite sides: coleslaw, collards, potatoes, or hushpuppies—and a sweet ice tea to wash it all down. For dessert, you can find delicious banana pudding, fried pies, and ice cream to satisfy your sweet tooth.
About Hog Happenin’ Foundation
Aside from food and music, the purpose of Hog Happenin’ is to support local North Carolina charities with 100% of the profits from the event. Hog Happenin’ Foundation, which holds the festival, seeks to promote public awareness and provide relief to abused and disabled children, those affected by domestic violence, veterans services, and the distressed. We look forward to seeing you there!
