I have been assisting clients, new and recurring, for many years. I take pride in that I can give them the help and support they need to work through a bad situation. I have compassion for each individual and their problems are mine until we can bring their case to closure.
In my spare time, I enjoy a good novel or film, cooking, gardening and motorcycle riding. With the majority of my family residing in Pennsylvania, my co-workers have become my second family. I enjoy using my vacation time to go spend quality time and vacation with my family.

I thrive on the connections I can build with people, knowing that I was able to assist clients during their legal process. Each case I treat with diligence, compassion, and perseverance.
Outside of the office, I enjoy pushing myself in endurance obstacle races which include Spartan, Savage, and 5K races. I also enjoy spending time with my family, especially watching my daughter grow.
I enjoy spending time at our family cabin in Asheville, NC in the winter months. In the summer months, I enjoy visiting Southport, NC, at the beach. In all aspects of my life and career, I try to motivate and push myself, knowing I gave my all every day.

I am a people person. After 26 years with the NY State Police, it is great to continue with a great team of good people and professionals. My background is in Criminal investigations, so my training provides me with the curiosity and ability needed to help people who are looking for guidance. Helping people is a big part of who I am.
I enjoy meeting and talking to new people. I find a lot of satisfaction in being able to be there for people who are reaching out in their time of need. Moving to NC and not dealing with an endless winter is my bonus!

Born and raised in Florida, I am proud to now say, I call North Carolina home. One of my greatest feats is helping others. It’s literally like second nature. Being in a firm that’s dedicated to helping others in a not-so-happy time is amazing. It makes me feel like, in some shape, form, or fashion, that I’m helping someone. What a feeling!!!

I recently moved to the Charlotte area in 2019 from Florida. I am an accounting management professional with over 15 years’ experience in managing complex legal business accounts. While living in Florida, I attended Eckerd College in St Petersburg and obtained a degree in Management. I then went further by attending the University of South Florida to obtain a M.S. degree in Management. I enjoy working for a firm that cares about helping their clients.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, hiking, sightseeing, and spending time traveling the world with my husband. Though my son and daughter are grown, we still enjoy family get-togethers celebrating milestones and traditions. Outside of family, my friends mean the world to me. Besides my American friends, I have friends all over the world from Belize to Albania, and from Europe to Asia. Most of us met in college and we all continue to stay in touch!

Born and raised in Mexico and coming to the U.S. made me realize communication is key. Especially being raised in a bilingual household motivated me to help those in need to express themselves during the process of experiencing any type of language barrier.
My organizational skills, bilingualism and aptitude for collaborative work allow me to meaningfully contribute to The Litigators reputation for providing our clients with positive experiences and outcomes.
As part of a great team, we thrive to make our clients’ needs our top priority. I perform and live by one of my favorite quotes, “Sometimes it takes only one act of kindness and caring to change a person’s life”.
I am a loving mother of three, dog mother of two, adapting to and living the all-American dream. In my free time, I love spending time with family, exploring nature, dancing, and traveling and going on adventures. Experiencing new places and food with the people I love; my family and faith are my greatest blessings.

I have had a rewarding career in being of service to others. I love meeting new people and putting smiles on their faces. You never know what a person is going through when you meet them. It brings me joy to know I have made a positive difference in their day. I recently graduated with my master’s degree in business administration. It is a pleasure to be a part of the LOJET team where I can continue my love of learning while delivering exceptional experiences to clients.
I am a proud military wife (Go, Navy!) and mom of 3. My family is my greatest treasure; any time spent making memories with them is most appreciated. I also enjoy getting lost in a great book or watching true crime stories. The beach is my favorite place to be, Virginia Beach to be specific. There is something about the tranquility the ocean brings that makes me feel the most at peace.

I am Christopher Stewart, a North Carolina Certified Paralegal with extensive experience in the legal field, specializing in workers’ compensation claims and personal injury (civil) litigation. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to providing exceptional legal support and advocacy for clients navigating complex legal challenges, ensuring they receive the representation and guidance they deserve.
My expertise in workers’ compensation claims forms the cornerstone of my professional practice. I have successfully managed numerous cases involving workplace injuries, and occupational diseases, and work diligently to help injured workers secure the benefits and compensation they are entitled to under North Carolina law. From the initial filing of claims through to resolution—whether through settlement negotiations, mediation, or hearings before the North Carolina Industrial Commission—I have developed a comprehensive understanding of the intricate procedures and requirements that govern workers’ compensation matters. My role has involved conducting thorough investigations, gathering and analyzing medical records, preparing detailed settlement calculations, drafting pleadings and motions, and coordinating with medical providers, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel to build strong cases on behalf of my clients.
Outside of the office, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my daughter and 4 grandchildren, and as a volunteer with the Humane Society of Charlotte.
Charla Bennett
Throughout my life, I have been focused on providing trustworthy and relationship centered services to an array of clientele. I am simply devoted to others. Each individual for every case is treated with respect and kindness as I seek to bring resolution to tough and trying circumstances.
Outside of work, I enjoy long walks and kayaking with my family. I also love gardening, drawing, painting, and dabbling in any form of visual art. Before moving to this area, I sang in a choir at my church and thrived by being an active greeter for the church members.

I have worked in the legal space since graduating from UNC Charlotte in 2019, ranging from criminal defense to workers’ compensation, and I use this experience to help clients in the best way possible. I try to not only help our clients with excellent service, but to also make a connection so that they feel that we are really in their corner and have their best interests at heart. I think it is very important to show clients that I really care about their health and that recovery from an injury is the top priority for myself and the firm. On my free time, I’m usually watching my favorite sports teams (Go Birds!), hanging out with my dog Meeko, or looking for new places to travel to. I’m also trying my hand and cooking and gardening!

Before joining Taylor | Serbin Injury Lawyers as an Intake Specialist, I spent many years in customer service roles— as a store manager and a senior account manager at a local car dealership. I even handled vehicle repossessions—yes, I was that repo girl! When the dealership closed in 2023, I worked in sales but I knew I wanted to take my skills and passion for helping people into a new direction. That’s what brought me here.
When I’m not working, I love dancing, spending time with my three amazing kids and six grandkids, and hanging out with my beloved pit-bull, Capone—he brings me so much joy! I’m also perfectly happy at home, watching TV and enjoying my own space. I’m truly grateful to be part of this team and honored to serve our clients and our community every day.
