Larry's Background
Larry Serbin’s path to the law is defined by intellectual curiosity, professional range, and a deep respect for the power of details. Raised in central Pennsylvania, Larry began his academic journey at Ohio University before exploring early careers in web development and the trucking industry—experiences that sharpened his understanding of systems, contracts, and real-world business dynamics.
Larry later earned a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Denver’s Daniels School of Business, where he developed the strategic and operational insight that continues to inform his legal practice today. While working in the trucking industry across Colorado and Northern California, Larry felt a persistent pull toward the law—particularly toward advocacy work that required precision, accountability, and ethical rigor.
Answering that call, Larry returned to Ohio to attend Capital University Law School in Columbus. There, he distinguished himself early by winning the first-year Moot Court Competition and serving on both the Capital Law Review and Moot Court Board. During law school, Larry gained hands-on experience handling workers’ compensation, personal injury, and Social Security disability cases—exposure that grounded his legal education in client-centered practice.
After passing the North Carolina Bar Exam, Larry co-founded a firm focused on Social Security disability claims, which grew into Bridgman & Serbin in 2009. The firm quickly earned recognition for representing disability claimants throughout the Carolinas. In 2014, Larry joined the The Law Offices of Jason E. Taylor (now Taylor | Serbin Injury Lawyers), bringing with him deep litigation experience and a reputation for thorough, disciplined advocacy.
Larry served as Managing Partner beginning in 2015, overseeing both legal and operational aspects of the firm. In 2019, he made a deliberate decision to return his full focus to practicing law. Today, as a Partner, Larry concentrates exclusively on representing clients in complex personal injury and consumer protection matters—cases where facts are disputed, liability is contested, and preparation makes the difference.
Larry is a devoted husband and father of two. Outside of work, he values time with his family, traveling, discovering new restaurants, and playing poker. A lifelong sports fan, Larry proudly supports Penn State, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
