Jeff Lewis grew up in southwestern Ohio and attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he majored in Decision Sciences.  After working in the field of database marketing for a small company in Oxford, he moved to Atlanta, where he transitioned to software and data management consulting.  His career in Atlanta took him all over North America, working for clients such as Ralph Lauren, General Motors, FedEx, 3M, and several other national companies.

He moved to Durham, NC in 2001 and from there to Greensboro, NC in 2003 with his wife.  After a successful career working in data analytics and consulting, he wanted to make a career change to be more available for his family.  He decided to attend law school at the University of North Carolina.  After graduation, Jeff began practicing in Greensboro as a workers’ compensation plaintiff’s attorney.  Early in his career, he achieved the highest settlement in his firm’s history and earned membership in the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum, for attorneys who have achieved 7-figure settlements.

After working for a nationally recognized defense firm, he realized that his passion lies with assisting injured workers.  He joined the Law Offices of Jason E. Taylor in October 2025, where his focus will be workers’ compensation cases.

In his spare time, Jeff enjoys travelling with his family and participating in road races and other sports.  Jeff also serves as a statistician for the Duke women’s basketball team, as well as working with other college and high school teams, TV networks, and tournament sponsors.
