I have been assisting clients, new and recurring, for many years. I take pride in that I can give them the help and support they need to work through a bad situation. I have compassion for each individual and their problems are mine until we can bring their case to closure.

In my spare time, I enjoy a good novel or film, cooking, gardening and motorcycle riding. With the majority of my family residing in Pennsylvania, my co-workers have become my second family. I enjoy using my vacation time to go spend quality time and vacation with my family.

I thrive on the connections I can build with people, knowing that I was able to assist clients during their legal process. Each case I treat with diligence, compassion, and perseverance.

Outside of the office, I enjoy pushing myself in endurance obstacle races which include Spartan, Savage, and 5K races. I also enjoy spending time with my family, especially watching my daughter grow.

I enjoy spending time at our family cabin in Asheville, NC in the winter months. In the summer months, I enjoy visiting Southport, NC, at the beach. In all aspects of my life and career, I try to motivate and push myself, knowing I gave my all every day.

I am a people person. After 26 years with the NY State Police, it is great to continue with a great team of good people and professionals. My background is in Criminal investigations, so my training provides me with the curiosity and ability needed to help people who are looking for guidance. Helping people is a big part of who I am.

I enjoy meeting and talking to new people. I find a lot of satisfaction in being able to be there for people who are reaching out in their time of need. Moving to NC and not dealing with an endless winter is my bonus!

Born and raised in Florida, I am proud to now say, I call North Carolina home. One of my greatest feats is helping others. It’s literally like second nature. Being in a firm that’s dedicated to helping others in a not-so-happy time is amazing. It makes me feel like, in some shape, form, or fashion, that I’m helping someone. What a feeling!!!

Chris Stafford

Chris Stafford

I recently moved to the Charlotte area in 2019 from Florida.  I am an accounting management professional with over 15 years’ experience in managing complex legal business accounts.  While living in Florida, I attended Eckerd College in St Petersburg and obtained a degree in Management. I then went further by attending the University of South Florida to obtain a M.S. degree in Management.   I enjoy working for a firm that cares about helping their clients.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, hiking, sightseeing, and spending time traveling the world with my husband.  Though my son and daughter are grown, we still enjoy family get-togethers celebrating milestones and traditions. Outside of family, my friends mean the world to me.  Besides my American friends, I have friends all over the world from Belize to Albania, and from Europe to Asia.  Most of us met in college and we all continue to stay in touch!

Alicia Hernandez

Legal Assistant

Born and raised in Mexico and coming to the U.S. made me realize communication is key.   Especially being raised in a bilingual household motivated me to help those in need to express themselves during the process of experiencing any type of language barrier.

My organizational skills, bilingualism and aptitude for collaborative work allow me to meaningfully contribute to The Litigators reputation for providing our clients with positive experiences and outcomes.

As part of a great team, we thrive to make our clients’ needs our top priority.  I perform and live by one of my favorite quotes, “Sometimes it takes only one act of kindness and caring to change a person’s life”.

I am a loving mother of three, dog mother of two, adapting to and living the all-American dream.  In my free time, I love spending time with family, exploring nature, dancing, and traveling and going on adventures. Experiencing new places and food with the people I love; my family and faith are my greatest blessings.

Jeannie Padilla

I am a devoted mother of three, embodying a passionate and nurturing spirit that extends beyond my family into all aspects of my life.  As a loving and caring individual, I approach every endeavor with warmth and empathy.  Beyond my role as a mother, my professional journey has led me to excel as a case manager, where my dedication and meticulous attention to detail shine through.  My ability to balance the demands of parenthood and a successful career reflects my remarkable resilience and unwavering commitment to both my family and my professional pursuits.

I joined LOJET’s Hickory office in September 2023.  I have worked at many places and this team truly exuberates team work and team effort!  With a healthy office atmosphere, it flows to our client relationship.  It is a place I am proud to work at and proud to work with people who give their all into the care of each client that entrusts us with their case.

Outside of LOJET, I appreciate every minute spent with my family and friends.  As a mother of eight and a wife of three decades, my mind never rests, but I do enjoy traveling to the beach to watch the sunrise and sunset to be reminded of God’s grace.  I also love learning about history and culture.  I am of Hmong ethnicity and grew up in a bi-lingual household.  Culture has always intrigued me! Coming to America as a child, I only knew of America as my country.  But, growing up, I saw the struggles of my parents’ generation trying to fit in, so being empathetic to all our clients comes naturally.  LOJET is where I feel our staff truly understands that each call, each person, each case is unique and different, but still receives the same kind of attention and care.

Kimmeka Lawrence

Intake Specialist

I have had a rewarding career in being of service to others. I love meeting new people and putting smiles on their faces. You never know what a person is going through when you meet them. It brings me joy to know I have made a positive difference in their day. I recently graduated with my master’s degree in business administration. It is a pleasure to be a part of the LOJET team where I can continue my love of learning while delivering exceptional experiences to clients.

I am a proud military wife (Go, Navy!) and mom of 3. My family is my greatest treasure; any time spent making memories with them is most appreciated. I also enjoy getting lost in a great book or watching true crime stories. The beach is my favorite place to be, Virginia Beach to be specific. There is something about the tranquility the ocean brings that makes me feel the most at peace.

Christopher Stewart

Paralegal

I am a workers’ compensation Paralegal for the Firm.  I have over 20 years of experience with workers’ compensation claims and personal injury claims and litigation.  I am honored to be recognized as a North Carolina Certified Paralegal with the NC State Bar since 2006.  This certification enhances the quality of legal services provided to attorneys.  My passion and purpose are to assist injured workers with navigating the system and protecting their rights. I have assisted attorneys with hearings before the NC Industrial Commission, the Full Commission, the NC Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court.

Charla Bennett

Case Manager

Throughout my life, I have been focused on providing trustworthy and relationship centered services to an array of clientele.  I am simply devoted to others.  Each individual for every case is treated with respect and kindness as I seek to bring resolution to tough and trying circumstances.

Outside of work, I enjoy long walks and kayaking with my family.  I also love gardening, drawing, painting, and dabbling in any form of visual art.  Before moving to this area, I sang in a choir at my church and thrived by being an active greeter for the church members.

Yohena Trejo

Receptionist

My workplace motivation begins with a positive mindset and the desire to help others. I am blessed and grateful to be a part of the LOJET team that at the end of the day, fills me with joy and satisfaction to know that we are doing something rewarding by helping our clients in whatever their situation is.

I enjoy quality family time and creating memories with my husband and my two daughters. We love going to church and spiritual retreats. We also love to admire the sunrise and sunset at the beach or mountains. On my free time I enjoy crocheting and creating DIY projects.

Dylan Williams

Workers Compensation Paralegal

Growing up, I moved around quite frequently. Because of that, making a lasting connection and lasting impression has always been a top priority for me. Working as a paralegal for Workers’ Compensation allows me to achieve my goals by building relationships with my clients with communication and empathy. Knowing that they can come to me with any issues they’re facing brings me joy and makes my job enjoyable.

Outside of work, I enjoy taking walks and hanging out with my dog, Meeko. You can also catch me enjoying the latest video games with my PC. I’m an avid sports fan, with my favorite teams being the Philadelphia Eagles and Manchester United F.C. I also enjoy cooking, watching movies, and taking road trips.

Heather Bolling

Litigation Paralegal

North Carolina Certified Paralegal
I am a North Carolina Certified Paralegal with over a decade of personal injury and complex litigation experience. Each case has its own complexities, and I thrive in the litigation environment, which requires digging deeper into the nuances of every case. Most clients have thankfully never had to go through any form of litigation, and it can be daunting. I am here to help clients navigate the intricate ins and outs of litigation and to make it as easy as possible during very trying times. In my personal time, you will find me cheering on my alma mater, the Ohio State Buckeyes! I stay active by running, lifting weights or playing sports such as volleyball and basketball. I also enjoy reading and spending time with my family, including my 2 and 4 legged children.

Jordan Allison

Prelitigation & Litigation Case Manager

I moved from my born-and-raised Ohio hometown to South Carolina back in 2021 and have called this home ever since. I joined LOJET in April of 2025, and am proud to be a member of such a caring, dedicated, and diligent team.

Since joining the team, I have devoted myself to detailed and timely care for each individual client. You may be meeting me during a tough moment in life, and it is my mission to take as much as I can off your plate and leave each interaction having helped you feel more at ease.

Outside of the professional satisfaction I get from helping clients in a time of need, I also find personal satisfaction in stacks of cozy books, a hot cup of coffee, and spoiling my three fat cats. I travel wherever and whenever I can, I love visiting friends and family back home and prefer to be on the back of our motorcycle to feel the wind in my hair any chance I get.

At LOJET, I look forward to helping you through your case with the highest quality of care so you too can get back to the things you love.

What We Are Doing. STEPS INDIVIDUALS CAN TAKE TO HELP PROTECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

Monitor Your Accounts

Under U.S. law, a consumer is entitled to one free credit report annually from each of the three major credit reporting bureaus, Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. To order a free credit report, visit www.annualcreditreport.com or call, toll-free, 1-877-322-8228. Consumers may also directly contact the three major credit reporting bureaus listed below to request a free copy of their credit report.

Consumers have the right to place an initial or extended “fraud alert” on a credit file at no cost. An initial fraud alert is a 1-year alert that is placed on a consumer’s credit file. Upon seeing a fraud alert display on a consumer’s credit file, a business is required to take steps to verify the consumer’s identity before extending new credit. If consumers are the victim of identity theft, they are entitled to an extended fraud alert, which is a fraud alert lasting seven years. Should consumers wish to place a fraud alert, please contact any of the three major credit reporting bureaus listed below.

As an alternative to a fraud alert, consumers have the right to place a “credit freeze” on a credit report, which will prohibit a credit bureau from releasing information in the credit report without the consumer’s express authorization. The credit freeze is designed to prevent credit, loans, and services from being approved in a consumer’s name without consent. However, consumers should be aware that using a credit freeze to take control over who gets access to the personal and financial information in their credit report may delay, interfere with, or prohibit the timely approval of any subsequent request or application they make regarding a new loan, credit, mortgage, or any other account involving the extension of credit. Pursuant to federal law, consumers cannot be charged to place or lift a credit freeze on their credit report. To request a credit freeze, individuals may need to provide some or all of the following information:

1. Full name (including middle initial as well as Jr., Sr., II, III, etc.);
2. Social Security number;
3. Date of birth;
4. Addresses for the prior two to five years;
5. Proof of current address, such as a current utility bill or telephone bill;
6. A legible photocopy of a government-issued identification card (state driver’s license or ID card, etc.); and
7. A copy of either the police report, investigative report, or complaint to a law enforcement agency concerning identity theft if they are a victim of identity theft.

Should consumers wish to place a credit freeze or fraud alert, please contact the three major credit reporting bureaus listed below:

The Federal Trade Commission also encourages those who discover that their information has been misused to file a complaint with them. Consumers can obtain further information on how to file such a complaint by way of the contact information listed above. Consumers have the right to file a police report if they ever experience identity theft or fraud. Please note that in order to file a report with law enforcement for identity theft, consumers will likely need to provide some proof that they have been a victim. Instances of known or suspected identity theft should also be reported to law enforcement and the relevant state attorney general. This notice has not been delayed by law enforcement.

STEPS INDIVIDUALS CAN TAKE TO HELP PROTECT A MINOR DEPENDENT’S PERSONAL INFORMATION

Typically, credit reporting agencies do not have a credit report in a minor’s name. To find out if a minor has a credit report or to request a manual search for a minor’s Social Security number each credit bureau has its own process. To learn more about these processes or request these services, consumers may contact the credit bureaus by phone, writing, or online:

To request information about the existence of a credit file in a minor’s name, search for a minor’s Social Security number, place a security freeze or fraud alert on a minor’s credit report (if one exists), or request a copy of a minor’s credit report consumers may be required to provide the following information:
