On Friday, the federal government enacted the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act ( CARES Act), which is a comprehensive bill designed to help stabilize the United States economy during the coronavirus pandemic. Title II of the CARES Act strengthens and provides extended unemployment benefits that would not otherwise be available to impacted workers.
